She creates her signature custom portraits that capture the personality of every home, cottage, and oyster bar. Her work celebrates the little quirks and details that make each place unique, with playful textures, charmingly irregular lines, and bold colors. Alena has been creating portraits since 2016, and her work has been featured in Real Simple Magazine, Apartment Therapy, Southern Living Magazine, and Etsy.

When she’s not drawing, Alena loves she is wandering Boise neighborhoods for inspiration, getting distracted by bizarre yard decorations, or turning whatever unusual little moments catch her eye into ideas for her next portrait.
